what is the best utility tractor with 35 - 50 hp?
I need it to have a bucket and to pull a brush hog things like that to maintain about 15 acres what is the best tractor in this range preferably under 25,000 which is most reliable, easiest to use and will get the job done i was looking at the john deere 4105 is that the best or is there something else thats better thanks
Most of the japanese tractors are similar in quality and price. The Deere you were looking at is made in Japan by Yanmar. Other japanese tractors include New Holland, Case, Massey Ferguson and Cub Cadet. The Massey is made by Iseki, a very good company. I think New Holland and Case are made by Mitsubishi and Cub Cadet is part of MTD. It wouldn't be fair not to mention Kubota. I think Kubota is a step up from John Deere and Cub Cadet but no better or worse than N-H, Case or Massey If I was buying a tractor in that horsepower range I would get a Kioti. They are made in South Korea and are heavier than other tractors with the same power. I know several people who own Kioti. All of them had other tractors before and say they wouldn't switch back. I wouldn't consider anything made in China or India or any of the other Korean tractors. Another important consideration is the service department of the dealer you buy from.
